Founded in 2008 by the Hermosa Beach Soccer Club, the HBSC Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth through its support of recreational and educational programs. HBSC carries out its mission through many activities such as the collection and donation of used soccer equipment for the benefit of low-income youth, a scholarship program for scholar athletes from low- and moderate-income families and support of events such as the L.A. Watts Summer Games.

“HBSC players have been very blessed. We are pleased to have the opportunity to give back to the community through the HBSC Charitable Foundation,” said HBSC President Brian Dragich. “Youth today face so many obstacles. Through the efforts of our players and donors we have the opportunity to provide needed support to the local community.”
